Filmmaker Collective
The goal of the UWG Filmmaker Collective is to unite filmmakers, film scholars, and film fans to develop our professional networks and create ongoing professional development opportunities beyond the classroom.
There is no formal leadership structure in The Collective, because every member qualifies for support from the School of Communication, Film, and Media to lead initiatives, produce events, solicit collaboration from the other members.
Our primary method of communication and community building is through a self-managed platform called Slack.
